It's crazy! Indeed. But, to the topic of health and fitness, I had an intersting, alcohol-influenced discussion with a good friend a while ago regarding health and fitness and, somewhat to my distraction, his contribuition - feng shui.  He keeps bringing this up, applying it all over the place. I think he really means balance and fluidity, which may be the same thing.  I haven't looked into feng shui very much. Anyway, I was comparing healthiness and fitness, saying they aren't the same thing.  He said they were if they were combined overall in a unified fashion, thus invoking the feng shui thing.  I said, ok, but I think I'm pursuing fitness and as a bi-product I will become more healthy, but that one does not necessarily imply the other.  His own grandmother, for example, smoked and drank well into her 90's and died with all her faculties intact while never doing any exercise or eating carefully.  So, I said she was healthy, had good genes, but was not necessarily fit.  Then I brought up the case of Fixx, who authored The Complete Book of Running, and died of a heart attack.  I labeled him fit, but not healthy. We batted this about over wine as the sunlit skies darkened and I realized how fortunate I was to be able to sit with an intelligent friend and ramble on about such stuff.  When I said so, he replied with a twinkle in his eye, Yes, but you need a fountain with the water squirting towards the house.  I guess fortune is a relative thing. - bc

I'd go for a hot tub, personally.  But, yeah, I agree with you. It wouldn't be feng shui unless the water was directed towards the house I guess, unless for some other reason.
