All that does is add fuel to the fire. I also don't understand why the Obama groupies don't want this issue put to rest by the simple act of making the long form birth certificate public. When there are efforts made to hide information, it's quite normal to ask ... WHY? I suspect he was born where and when he claims, but the long form birth certificate contains some embarrassing information.

That is my suspicion too, but as long as the courts don't order him to reveal it he is under no legal obligation to do so. In fact, there is so much whining about every aspect of this guy that to do so for one special interest group would open the flood gates  for all the others. Hillary is much, much smarter than you or any of the quarter-wits currently whining about this non-issue. ************************************************** What bothers me about this issue is ... it's so easy for Obama to put this issue to rest (if he can), No, it isn't.  Assume he produces a birth certificate.  At that point Berg will try to produce an expert or someone claiming to be an expert who will testify to discredit it.  If the court refuses the expert's credentials then Berg calls a press conference and denounces the conspiracy keeping him from properly examining the evidence .  And since Obama has done something a bit interesting the press will actually start to be interested in Berg so they'll come to the press conference giving a lot more publicity to this claim.  OK, ok, but Berg will have no case to present without his expert so it's over then, right?  Of course not.  Read Berg's filing.  That Obama wasn't born in the United States is only one of the charges Berg makes. All he'll accomplish is to give Berg publicity.   Obama's best course is to give Berg the absolute minimum attention possible.
